Promoting wellness through Nature, Animals & The Arts. Together, Farming Joy!

Welcome! We’re so happy you’re here!

NATURE

Being out in Nature is good for our bodies and good for our souls! Research shows that time spent in nature can lower blood pressure, ease anxiety, and improve overall wellness. Nature Deficit Disorder is a REAL thing in today’s plugged in world. So unplug for awhile and join us at theFarm for a healthy dose of Vitamin N!

ANIMALS

Animals have a magical way about them. They live in the moment, take time for rest & take time for play. They don’t judge or hold grudges, and they love unconditionally; valuable lessons we can all take to heart. Being around them can bring a sense of calm, make us laugh & make us smile. With gratitude for all they give to us, our commitment to them is a home where they will only know care, love and kindness for the rest of their days.

THE ARTS

There’s a reason why modalities such as Art, Music & Movement Therapy exist! Being involved in creative pursuits is a wonderful, and proven, way of enhancing wellness & JOY. Combining the power of creativity with the inherent gifts of Nature & Animals, and you have the recipe for Farming JOY!

CCF is committed to building inclusive community, practicing sustainability, and supporting local small business. We welcome artists, farmers, educators, wellness practitioners, therapists and organizations to become part of the Farming JOY family! We’d love to support your passion, business & initiatives! We’re blessed to live in a “Right To Farm” Community

How great it is that our Community recognizes the MAGIC Farming, Nature & Animals bring to our lives!

Thank you, Marshfield!

The Right to Farm By-law reinforces for all citizens of Marshfield that we cherish the right to farm here, continuing the traditions established by Daniel Webster and our founding families
— Marshfield Agricultural Commission
When tillage begins other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of human civilization

There really is something special about Cobblestone Farm. It’s tucked away where you wouldn’t expect to find such a tranquil place, off a main road in Marshfield, MA. I met Donna back in 2009 and had been helping with the horses and other various barn critters since I was a teenager. I even boarded my own two horses, Steele and Navajo, at the farm before moving to NH. Working with Donna and the horses has had the most profound positive impact on my life. Whether I’m sitting with the chickens outside on a sunny afternoon as they search for bugs in the grass or watching the horses as they run and play together - it is easy to slip away from the stresses of daily life. Surrounded by trees, beautiful blooms of wildflowers, and green grass all over, it’s no wonder wildlife of all sorts also pass through from time to time. This place gave me lots of excellent subjects to practice and develop my photography skills! Being in the company of animals and nature brings a peace that is attained nowhere else. Afternoons spent at Cobblestone Farm are among the most favorite memories of mine. I often find myself daydreaming about this place. Working on a project, participating in a special activity, or just spending time bonding with the animals here is time well spent!
